Happy Friday! I’m sure everyone is just as excited about the weekend as I am!
We would like to thank all of the students who attended the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) College Fair on Sunday! Having the chance to share information about Emory was a great experience, and we loved all of our conversations. Remember, you can post a question to the blog if you would like to keep the conversation going!
We would also like to congratulate everyone accepted under the Early Decision II program! As a former Early Decision admit, I can vividly remember my excitement and emotion after receiving the decision. Your love for Emory will only grow in the future.
Finally, I’m proud to announce that one of our very own Admission Fellows Joel Dobben has been named a Bobby Jones Scholar! It’s a prestigious honor bestowed upon very few Emory students, and we’re so proud of him. You can read more about this amazing opportunity here: http://emorywheel.com/detail.php?n=30705.
And yes, the rumors are true. Usher was here at Emory yesterday to provide the keynote speech at the Undergraduate Business School Leadership Conference. Just another perk of attending Emory, I guess. :). Here is the link to an article about his visit: http://emorywheel.com/detail.php?n=30709.
Enjoy your weekend and I hope to hear from you!
